1. Measure your chest

With good posture, wrap a measuring tape under your arms around your back and take the measurement at fullest part of your chest. Be sure to keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

2. Measure your waist

Our waist can be a difficult area to measure! The natural waistline is halfway between the lowest rib you can feel and the top, outside edge of the hip bone. One trick might help you find this spot are to stand up straight and tilt over. Where your torso creases is where your waistline is.

Steel and blue, with the chronograph registers sunk into the dial in the same colour so they read as part of it rather than as three discs dropped on top. SWISS MADE is printed at the foot of the dial. Case and Wrist Presence Polished stainless steel with a coin-edged rotating bezel carrying a blue insert. Two cylindrical pushers straddle a knurled crown on the right flank. The bezel is the thickest part of the profile and gives the watch its stance; the bracelet meets the case tightly enough that the two read as one piece. Steel on steel with a coloured bezel is about as conventional as a sports watch gets, and it is conventional because it works. Dial and Legibility Deep blue with applied polished markers, white-filled hands and a printed minute track on a chapter ring around the edge. MOVADO sits above centre with calendoplan S in italic beneath, and SWISS MADE below. Three registers are arranged across the middle and lower dial, tinted the same blue with pale printing, and the date shows through an aperture at six. Because the sub-dials match the dial colour, the face stays calm – the white hands and markers are what your eye picks up first. Movement and Functions The upper pusher starts and stops the chronograph, the lower returns it to zero, and elapsed minutes accumulate in the registers. The date is set from the crown. The bezel turns separately, so you can mark elapsed minutes by aligning the pip with the minute hand – handy when the thing you want to time has already started. Bracelet and Fit A three-row steel bracelet, brushed across the outer links with polished centres, closing on a folding clasp. Sizing is done by removing links. A steel bracelet on a bezel watch is worth fitting properly: with weight on both sides of the case the watch stays square on the wrist, which is what makes the bezel usable one-handed. Who This Watch Suits Someone after a single steel chronograph that will go anywhere. Blue keeps it from being anonymous; the bracelet means it never needs a strap change. Care and Maintenance Do not press the pushers when the watch is wet. Rinse the bracelet and the bezel edge occasionally and dry them fully – soap and grit collect in both. Brushed steel can be wiped along the grain, but a polishing compound will destroy the finish. Have a watchmaker replace the battery and reseat the case gasket. About the Brand Movado has been a Swiss house since 1881. The Calendoplan S takes its calendar-watch name into a sports case with a rotating bezel, and in plain steel it is the most straightforward version of it. Technical Specifications Attribute Specification Brand Movado Collection Calendoplan S Reference 3650124 Case shape Round Case Stainless steel Bezel Blue rotating count-up bezel Dial Blue Markers Applied indices Registers Three chronograph registers Date Aperture at six Bracelet Stainless steel Origin Swiss made Warranty 24 months Buying With Confidence The watch carries a 24-month international manufacturer warranty on the movement; the battery and normal wear fall outside it. It ships new and unworn in its original box with the manufacturer’s paperwork, travels on a tracked nationwide courier, and the Consumer Protection Act gives you the right to return an unworn watch in its original packaging.
