1. Measure your chest

With good posture, wrap a measuring tape under your arms around your back and take the measurement at fullest part of your chest. Be sure to keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

2. Measure your waist

Our waist can be a difficult area to measure! The natural waistline is halfway between the lowest rib you can feel and the top, outside edge of the hip bone. One trick might help you find this spot are to stand up straight and tilt over. Where your torso creases is where your waistline is.

The Tissot T063.610.16.038.00~ is a generously sized watch built around a stainless steel case and a silver dial. It measures 42 mm across and 7 mm deep. Case and Wrist Presence \n This is a 42 mm case and 7 mm deep, worked in stainless steel. The surface treatment is polished. At 42 mm it lands in the range most men’s wrists take comfortably, and it will sit under a cuff. \n Reading the Dial \n The face is finished in silver. \n Movement and Functions \n A quartz movement drives the watch. That means accuracy which needs no daily attention, no winding routine, and no rate drift to correct. \n \n Date display – the current date at a glance \n Water resistance – 3 ATM (30 metres) \n Sapphire crystal – protecting the dial \n \n Strap, Clasp and Fit \n The strap is leather. Leather softens and takes the shape of the wrist over the first few weeks, and it is the easiest material to replace later if you want a different look. \n Water Resistance and Everyday Durability \n The watch is rated to 3 ATM, or 30 metres of static pressure. That covers rain and incidental splashes. Take it off before you shower or swim. Make sure the crown is fully seated before any contact with water. \n A sapphire crystal protects the dial – the most scratch-resistant option short of diamond, and the reason the dial still looks new after years of wear. \n Who This Watch Suits \n \n An everyday wrist size that still reads as a proper men’s watch \n Building a silver-led accessory wardrobe \n Smart-casual dressing, where a bracelet would read too heavy \n Gift buyers looking for something recognisable, boxed and properly warranted \n \n Styling Notes \n Silver is the default for a reason – it reads as neutral metal, pairs with any strap colour you later swap in, and sits comfortably in both office and weekend settings. The leather strap pulls the whole watch towards smart-casual – it will look right with a jacket and wrong with a wetsuit. \n Care and Maintenance \n A watch at this level rewards very little maintenance, but the little it asks for makes the difference between one that still looks sharp in five years and one that does not. Have the battery replaced by a watchmaker rather than a kiosk – a proper service reseats the case gasket at the same time, which is what actually preserves the water rating. A flat battery left in the case is the single most common cause of avoidable movement damage. Keep it away from the shower and the pool – the rating here covers splashes, not immersion. \n Leather and water are a poor combination: a soaked strap stiffens and cracks as it dries. Let it breathe between wears and it will last years rather than months. Store it away from magnets and out of direct heat, and it will hold its rate and its finish. \n About the Brand and Ownership \n Tissot watches sit in the sweet spot between fashion and function: recognisable design, real build quality, and a price that does not ask you to think of the watch as an investment. Quartz keeps the running costs near zero – a battery every few years and the occasional seal check is the whole of the maintenance schedule. Basic care goes a long way – keep it clear of solvents and perfume, rinse the strap if it has been in salt water, and store it somewhere dry. \n The Short Version \n What you are getting is an everyday size that still has presence, a leather strap that softens the whole thing. It is not trying to be a heirloom piece and it does not price itself like one. It is a well-made, recognisable watch that does the job every day and looks considered doing it. \n Technical Specifications \n \n Attribute Specification \n Brand Tissot \n Model / Reference T063.610.16.038.00~ \n Gender Men’s (42 mm case) \n EAN 7611608270943 \n Case Diameter 42 mm \n Case Thickness 7 mm \n Case Material Stainless steel \n Case Finish Polished \n Dial Colour Silver \n Crystal Sapphire \n Movement Quartz \n Strap / Bracelet Leather \n Water Resistance 3 ATM / 30 metres \n \n Buying With Confidence
