Three sub-dials sit at nine, three and six for elapsed minutes, a 24-hour indication and running seconds, and the date window is set between four and five. The hour and minute hands are white-filled and broad, which is why this dial stays readable despite being grey on grey elsewhere. The orange central hand belongs to the chronograph. \n Movement and Functions \n Quartz chronograph. The top pusher starts and stops the timer, the bottom one zeroes it. The orange hand counts seconds against the printed outer scale while elapsed minutes build up at nine. Running seconds at six show the watch is going with the stopwatch idle. \n Bracelet and Fit \n A steel link bracelet with a black silicone overlay moulded across the centre of each link. It is a hybrid: the steel gives it structure and weight, the rubber gives it grip and stops the bracelet sticking to the wrist in heat. Sizing works the same way as a metal bracelet, by removing links. The silicone will pick up dust, and a wipe with a damp cloth lifts it. \n Who This Watch Suits \n Someone who wants a chronograph for the weekend rather than the office. The rubber-and-steel bracelet is more forgiving of heat and sweat than an all-metal one, and the grey dial is less severe than black. \n Care and Maintenance \n Wipe the silicone sections regularly; rubber holds onto dust and skin oils more than metal does.
