On a watch this size the strap does real work – a narrow one would look wrong and would let the case tip. Matte leather scuffs less visibly than polished and softens without stiffening. Keep it out of water; a leather strap that is repeatedly soaked hardens and cracks at the buckle fold. \n Who This Watch Suits \n Someone with the wrist for it who wants a large, dark statement watch. It is not a formal piece despite the leather – the size puts it firmly in casual territory. \n Care and Maintenance \n Dark case coatings scratch through to bright metal, so keep the case off rough surfaces. Wipe with a soft dry cloth only.
