The date window at four steps at midnight and needs a manual push after any month shorter than 31 days. Bracelet and Fit Milanese mesh is woven from fine steel strands rather than assembled from links, so it has no rigid segments and follows the shape of the wrist instead of bridging the bones. It runs cooler than a solid bracelet, sits flat under a cuff and adjusts by sliding the clasp along the weave – which means you can move the fit by a millimetre rather than the five-millimetre jump of removing a link. Cinch it too tight and it will catch the odd arm hair, so leave a little slack. Who This Watch Suits Someone who likes the chronograph layout but not the noise of a sports watch. All white and steel, it reads as a dress piece from a distance and only shows its pushers up close. Care and Maintenance Mesh collects soap and skin oil between the strands. Rinse it under a running tap every few weeks, work along the weave with a soft brush and dry it fully before wearing. Stop and reset the chronograph when you have finished timing – left running, it will halve the battery life.
