An almost empty dial. White mother-of-pearl fills the whole opening, two slim hands cross it, and the only thing placed on the surface is a small crystal-set flower low on the dial where a six would be. Each link is stamped into a scalloped arch, so the whole band reads as a row of repeated curves rather than as a chain of rectangles. It is polished throughout, which means it picks up hairline scratches, and on a shape this decorative those marks mostly disappear into the contours. Sizing is by link removal at a jeweller. Who This Watch Suits Someone buying a piece of jewellery that also tells the time, and who is happy to glance twice. Worn with other silver it disappears into the stack, which is the point. Care and Maintenance The shell dial is sealed behind the crystal and needs nothing, but it does not like heat or long spells of direct sun. Clean the bracelet with a soft brush and warm soapy water, paying attention to the underside of the scalloped links where soap collects, and dry it fully. Battery changes through a watchmaker.
