The DW00100282 is listed by retailers as the Classic 36 mm Bayswater with a black dial. It is a quartz watch with a stainless steel case, a blue fabric strap 18 mm wide and a case just 6 mm thick. Of the three Bayswater 36 mm references in this range it is the one where the strap width is published, which makes it simple to plan a replacement strap.

Dial

The dial is black and carries a plain three-hand layout. There is no date and no sub-dial. With so little on the face, the eye goes straight to the hands, and the black background gives crisp contrast for the markers. This reading experience is the reason minimal dials remain popular: you see the time and that is all.

A quartz movement drives the watch. Quartz means a battery rather than a mainspring, so there is no winding, and the time stays steady from day to day. Replacement is a short job for a watchmaker, who can also check the seals so the water resistance holds.
